How to transfer your websites from your old webhost provider.

Switching to new hosting companies and changing Domain name servers with IP address should not be difficult.

As long as your Domain stays the same, your website’s ranking with Google should not change if you are only changing your webhost. Just follow these easy steps using your cPanel:

Login to cPanel of your existing host then click “Backups”.

Click ‘Home Directory’ under Partial Backups, choose a location on your computer to save the file

Select either “any or all” of these next three choice then save to your local drive: Databases, Forwarders, Email Filters.

Next, login to cPanel of new host then locate and click “Backups”.

Under Partial Backups inder ‘Restore a Home Directory Backup’ click browse and locate file in your local drive then click ‘Upload’.

Do the same in ‘Restore a MySQL Database’, browse and locate file in your local drive then click ‘Upload’.
Repeat with ‘Restore an Email Forwarders and Restore Filters Backup’, browse and locate file in your local drive then click ‘Upload’.

Note about MySQL Database:
If you have more that one MySQL Databases, you must upload individually.
After uploading, check if the database user is missing, if it is, just re-create the user by opening your websites configuration files and locating the user and password then just re-create them.
