How to change your WordPress theme

After wordpress installation, most of us don’t like the default theme.
This tutorial will show you how to change your WordPress theme.

To changed your wordpress theme, download a zipped WordPress theme that you like to your P.C.’s local hard drive then upload to your website.

To upload file, you must log-in to your cPanel then go to Files -> File Manager.

A pop-up box will appear, make sure that you choose Web Root (public_html/www) from the directory selection to open, click go.

A new browser will appear, which is the File Manager (this is your website files).

Open folders wp-content -> themes

Click Upload from the top left of the file manager, a new browser will open.

Click Browse then locate the zipped file to upload from your P.C.’s local hard drive (Note: file that you can upload from here is up to 5 MB only (maximum). If the file is larger than that, you need to use a FTP client software such as Filezilla to upload file to your website).

When the upload is complete, close the upload browser and go back to the file manager browser, click Reload to refresh browser. You should see the new uploaded file.

Click the uploaded zipped file then click Extract (from the top left of your browser).

After you extracted the zipped file you must log in to your wordpress to change the theme.
